Upon accessing the Home page of Vic's Retirement Site, some users may see displayed at the top of the screen an Information Bar warning that Internet Explorer is blocking “a pop-up window or a file download that might not be safe”.

Vic's Retirement Site does not attempt to “install software on your computer without your consent”, nor does it attempt to “control your computer remotely”. There are no "pop-up windows" and this site certainly does not have facilities for the downloading of files, of any description, to your PC.

The only software which gathers any information is the StatCounter which simply records the number of visitors to the site.
